The Psychological Service has an Improvement Plan, a Performance Report and a Standards and Quality report, to ensure that the organisation develops in accord with changing demands and knowledge. The content of the plan is the result of consultation within and outwith the service. Priorities with specific targets are monitored and reviewed annually in conjunction with the directorate. The inspection of North Ayrshire Council included the evaluation of the quality of educational psychology provision on behalf of stakeholders. The evaluation of EPS are conducted within a framework of quality indicators which embody the Government's policy on Best Value.
