COSLA Bronze Award
North Ayrshire Educational Psychology Service recently received a COSLA Bronze Award - 'One to Watch'. The COSLA Excellence Awards celebrate the very best in Scottish local government. The emphasis is on rewarding the most innovative and passionate developments and on recognising projects that can demonstrate excellent service delivery to communities. In this category, winners have to show originality and that they are capable of delivering ground breaking performance.

Above all, award winners are pioneering new answers to the challenges facing local government. 'Motivated Minds' project aims to increase pupil and teacher aspirations and expectations. It is an inspirational preventative approach for all pupils, aiming to increase pupils views of their own potential, resulting in improved motivation and achievement.
See 'Initiatives and Developments' for more information about the project.
This year two projects are being considered for this award. Prepare to Succeed - Access to High Tariff Courses - and the Sleep project. More information about both of these projects can be found by following the links.
