The following activities have been designed to help you find information on the Internet for your chosen topic. Please click on the area you would like to explore and try the activity! If you have any problems ask your teacher or a Librarian for help.
Activity One
Open the "UK Members of the European Parliament" site.
1) How many M.E.P.'s are listed for Scotland?
2) There are only two female members mentioned, name them both.
3) Which political party has three members?
Activity Two
Open the "Say Hello to the World Project" site.
1) List five worlds that we use in the English language that we have taken from:
| a) French | b) German |
| c) Greek | d) Italian |
2) List three words that we use in the English language that we have taken from:
| a) Spanish | b) Swedish |
3) List the numbers 1 - 10 in one of the above languages.
Activity Three
Open the "Ireland" section of the Europe page. Look at each of the 3 websites and review each site for future users. Is it full of relevant information? is is fast and easy to use? What will I give it from a maximum of 10?
