5-14 Environmental Studies

The 5-14 Environmental Studies curriculum in North Ayrshire is based on the documents entitled "Environmental Studies: A framework for planning." This is the result of collaboration between North Ayrshire and East Ayrshire and provides a framework of topics to be studied at each stage of the programme.
The Education Resource Service currently provides a project loan request service whereby North Ayrshire teachers can request and borrow resources to support the curriculum. The web resources on the following pages have been selected on the same principles and provide an online resource to support 5-14 Environmental Studies topics.
This is a growing collection that will be developed in consultation with teaching staff. If you have any opinions on the resources in these pages, or if you have special requests for web resources, please e-mail us.
