School Grounds

Aim

To develop a wild flower meadow and a log pile within the school grounds.

A meeting was held on Wednesday 19th January at 2.30pm with Mr Tom Armstrong (Countryside Liaison Officer) and the Eco Committee. The proposed site was visited and several questions were put to Mr Armstrong. He agreed the chosen site was suitable and gave advice as to its development.

The above plans to be presented to the school on Wednesday 23.2.05 at a meeting arranged for this purpose.

How will we know we are making progress?

Take photographs before we begin and at each stage of the development. School Grounds Group responsible for this.

Once area is established find out the impact it is having by using questionnaires / surveys e.g. to find out how many classes are using the area for lessons or how many people are visiting the area.
